Course Information

**APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN - PLEASE SEND YOUR FORM IN OR CONTACT US AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO SECURE A PLACE**

Due to health and safety reasons and logistic arrangements within the NWRC, this year we will have to charge £6.75 per day for lunch and tea & coffee. This will include a buffet lunch with sandwiches and a selection of hot items. Tea & coffee will be served in the morning, at lunchtime and in mid-afternoon.

As the meals have to be ordered in advance we would be grateful if you could send in an additional payment of £20 with your course fee.

Full course fee covers all concerts, workshops, ensemble and master classes.

Classical Guitar

Non-residential £130 Residential £265 (this does not include meals) Students in further or higher education - Non-residential £90 Students in further or higher education - Residential £225 (this does not include meals)
Three days of intense guitar therapy tutored by Carlos Bonell, and Wiktoria Szubelak. Students will also have the opportunity to perform on stage at the student Gala Concert on Sunday evening.

Acoustic Guitar: Friday 21st 10am - 12am

Alberto Grollo - Two hour workshop £50
Come and join us with this award winning musician/producer and see how he approaches his compositions and arrangements. All participants will have to opportunity to perform at the Gala Concert on Sunday night.

Slide Blues Guitar: Saturday 22nd 10am - 12am

Martin Healey Two hour workshop £50
This is a first for the festival and we can't wait to hear Martin's demonstration of this most soulful of instruments. A must for all blues enthusiasts. All participants will have the opportunity to perform at the Gala concert on Sunday night

Flamenco Guitar: Sunday 23rd 10am - 12am

Amir John Haddad "EL AMIR" Flamenco - Two hour workshop £50
Sign up and experience the fire and passion of the Flamenco culture. This 2 hour workshop is taken by Amir John Haddad one of the worlds most versatile flamenco guitarists. All participants will have the opportunity to perform at the Gala Concert on Sunday evening.

Acoustic Guitar: Sunday 23rd 10am - 12am

Gordon Giltrap - Two hour workshop £50
A real treat for all acoustic guitarists, this course will be held by the legendary Gordon Giltrap. With a career spanning over three decades, 40 albums released he has created an unmistakable sound that is truly his own. All participants will have the opportunity to perform at the Gala Concert Sunday night.

Electric Guitar - Riff Library

Non-residential £130 Residential £265 (this does not include meals) Students in further education - Non-residential £90 Students in further education - Residential £225 (this does not include meals)
Sign up for a truly electrifying guitar riffs course, taken by local guitar legend Ted Lynch. Students on this course will have the opportunity to perform live on stage with their tutor accompanied by bass and drums for the full rock experience.

Beginners Ukulele Course

First day is Free for all - Then £90 for the following two days or £45 if you would like one extra day only.
Why not come and have a go at learning the Ukulele from scratch.... This course will be taught by local guitarist/ukulele player Ronan Kearney, a Graduate in Music Performance at the University of Ulster. This course will consist of three days tuition. The first day is FREE for all, if you then decide that you are enjoying your new musical experience you can sign up for the next two days. Lots of fun and meeting new friends guaranteed!
