The City of Derry Guitar Festival is proud to present some new additions to our courses. This year we are offering a absolute beginners guitar course, and a songwriting course for all levels, as well as a Flamenco Guitar Course.

Due to health and safety reasons and logistic arrangements within the NWRC, this year we will have to charge £6.75 per day for lunch and tea & coffee. This will include a buffet lunch with sandwiches and a selection of hot items. Tea & coffee will be served in the morning, at lunchtime and in mid-afternoon.

As the meals have to be ordered in advance we would be grateful if you could send in an additional payment of £20 with your  course fee.

Full course fee covers all concerts, workshops, ensemble and master classes.

This course will consist of three days tuition under the watchful eye of Eoin O’Callaghan (AKA) Best Boy Grip. Here you will be taken through the fundamental stages of songwriting. Students here will  also have the opportunity to perform on stage at the student Gala Concert on Sunday evening.
