Running through the Festival is a series of world class concerts featuring our resident guitarists. Ticket prices £8 / £6 Conc / £3 Student unless otherwise stated.
Special Festival Ticket £20 / £15

Early Muisc Ensemble : Thursday 21th August
Recital Room, Foyle Arts Building, Magee Campus 8pm. Tribute to the Julian Bream Consort .

Graham Devine : Friday 22nd August
Recital Room, Foyle Arts Building, Magee Campus 8pm ... Featuring the World Premiere of CDGF commission Sternlos by Ian Wilson and repertoire commissioned by Julian Bream.

Nigel North: Lute Saturday 23rd August. 1.15pm Lunchtime Recital, Recital Room, Foyle Arts Building, Magee Campus. Nigel will be playing a collection of Elisabethan lute music.

Fiesta Night Saturday 23rd August 9pm Bound For Boston
Mark McKnight and Ricky Graham present an evening of electric guitar in a fiesta of styles includingf jazz and electronica.

Carlos Bonell: Sunday 24th August Lunchtime Recital, Recital Room, Foyle Arts Building, Magee Campus 1.15pm. Carlos Bonell plays some of the most important works written for Julian Bream including Walton's Bagatelles and Malcolm Arnold's Serenade where he will be accompanied by Astushi Tamura on piano.

Student Gala Concert: Sunday 26th August 7:30pm Recital Room, Foyle Arts Building, Magee Campus

For the majority of students this will be the highlight of their time spent at the festival and will probably be the first time that some of them have performed in the public domain, so come and support the final concert of the festival where all their hard work will be showcased through solo playing and ensembles.
